Thank you for your very kind message Viv. It prompted me to have a quick check- just as well, the records are NOT in Nova Scotia, but in Newfoundland, sorry. I should not trust my memory since my stroke it is a bit hit and miss.

I suggest you look at Merseyside Maritime Museum fact sheet No.43, this will give you all the details and at the bottom CORRECT information as to how to obtain it.
There is an amazing Shackleton exhibition there at the Maritime Museum, on tour, if anyone lives close it is well worth it. What a man, and what they went through.
