Is this Mawson J. Smyrk who died in Baltimore, Maryland? I have the following death notice from the Baltimore Sun, published Sunday, Dec. 29, 1917:

SMYRK -- On December 27, 1917, MAWSON J. aged 80 years, beloved husband of Elizabeth A. Smyrk.

The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at his late residence, No. 725 North Fulton venue, this (Saturday) afternoon at 2 o’clock.
