If Daniel Cain b.1843 emigrated to the US, he must have been getting on a bit when he left. I have him on the IOM census 1851/61/71/81/91. He was the son of Eliza Creer, my 4th G.Nan, and was resident at Kew Farm in German 1871/81, with Eliza & his brothers/sisters, then his wife Drusilla (Garrett) & children. He moved to Douglas circa 1880s, and is listed in the '91 census as resident 13 Berkely St.
