Hi, I am looking for any descendants of John Thomas Kennaugh and his wife Margaret Ann Kennaugh als Morrison.They emigrated to America but I don't know the date as yet. I have them on the 1901 census at Lonan Isle of Man with six children. John Thomas Kennaugh age 39, Margaret Ann (his wife) age 40,John Thomas age 14,Robert Hugh age 11, Margaret Elizabeth age 8, Wiliam Frederic age 5, Florence S,age 3,George R age 7 months.We have letters from our Aunt Annie Garrett written in August 1970 to her cousin Florence in America. The letter was addressed to Mr ans Mrs.Olin or (Olwyn) Rothfus,1103 Cowlitz Way, Kelso, Washington.In the letter she talks about their grandmother Margaret Cowley als Morrison,als Christian. John Thomas, Margaret Ann and their children lived on a small farm at Glendrink, Lonan,Isle of Man in 1895. In 1975/6 Annie's brother Allan Robert Garrett with his wife Beatrice and son Ewan visited Florence and family for a few days.Florence was then living in Portland, Oregon, USA.She would have been age about 78yrs. Annie and Allan Robert's mother Edith Ada Jane was a sister to Florence's Mother margaret.I have just recently learned that some people came from America about 20 years ago looking for their Kennaugh roots and their connection to the Garretts of the North IOM. I don't think anyone had done any research on the Garrett family back then and were unable to help them. I have only just found the connection.It seems Aunt Annie was the family historian. She died in Dec 1988. I would love to hear from anyone connected to the family. I have traced margaret's family back. hopeing someone recognises these names. Pauline
