Re: Corlett & Norris Families
In Response To: Re: Corlett & Norris Families ()

Hi Liz:

Florence Louise Corlett, Harold Percival's older sister, was my paternal grandmother, but she had died before I was born, so I'm glad to link up with you, even though years have gone by since your original post. I have source data and definite information on 10 of the siblings, and 2 other potential names from my father's memory -- as well as multiple other links.

You can join up for a free account with Ancestry.com and with that you can view any Trees that are "public" (as mine is), and see details of the whole tree except for Living relatives. My tree is named Griffith-Woolfall-Corlett-Beer (you should easily pull that up by putting in the name and DOB of Henry Percival and searching on Public Trees). It contains a few photos of Florence (I haven't got around to sorting out most of what I've scanned from family photos) -- and even a photo of Harold (and one of the other brothers who emigrated to New Zealand).

Until your post, I hadn't signed up for GenesReunited.co.uk. I have added minimal information of my tree on that website, but unlike Ancestry.com, I can't just access your tree. By chance are you Elizabeth M (member # 075701), who I found on the messageboard of GenesReunited? If so, I'll send you my e-mail address via the message board so we can communicate more easily (and I can give you direct access to my Tree with an e-mail address).

I've found a bunch of information on the IOM side of the Corlett tree via the LDS search facilities (Pedigree Resource File and International Genealogy Index), but this can create rather tenuous or risky links without any source data, so I'd be really interested in hearing what you have found out. I have a fair amount of definitive source data on Florence and Harold's part of the family (and other family members too), which I'd be happy to share with you if you don't already have it.

Regards, Sue.
