Re: Corlett & Norris Families
In Response To: Corlett & Norris Families ()

OK -- I'm REALLY late compared with the original messages, but I've only just started researching my Family Tree. In my tree, I have a Henry Norris Corlett ( born ~1819 in the Isle of Man), who married Sarah ?Jones in Liverpool, Lancashire, and the family and subsequent family members lived there. The middle name Norris was carried through two further generations that I'm aware of: Henry Norris Corlett, maybe one son who died (born 1833 and presumably died as a child) and then another son also named Henry Norris Corlett (born 1848), together with John Norris Corlett (born 1841, who was my great grandfather). John Norris Corlett had 2 sons named John Norris Corlett (1883-1884 and 1888-955, the latter of whom lived in New Zealand), and sons also named Henry Norris Corlett (1882-1896, lived in Lancashire) and Herbert Norris Corlett (1885-1963).

I'd love to find out if "my" Henry Norris Corlett, born IOM, is connected with what has been posted here. I have a public Family Tree on Ancestry.com (and Ancestry.co.uk), so feel free to check that out if it is relevant to you.

Thanks.
