trying to straighten out a mess: John Reid (4 July 1848-1923) born in Scotland lists his parent as Andrew on his marriage certificate; George on a Canadian census and IOM as birth. He lists his mother as Catherine on the marriage and Margary on the census. John married Mary Jane Dunn in Canada and they had 3 children.
Can anyone shed any light?
