MIs: Clague+Quine

Hi Donna

I've just discovered that my Clague great great grandfather on my maternal grandmother's side of the family had a second marriage late in life. Charles Clague b 1809 Rushen was married first to Eleanor Moore in 1832 and the couple brought up their family at Surby, Rushen. Eleanor died in 1858.

In 1861 widower Charles (Charley) was still at Surby with 7 of his children. By 1871 he was living in Patrick with new wife, Jane, and one of Jane's granddaughters. She was Jane Kelly, widow of a William Kelly, when she married Charles Clague on 10th Feb 1866 in Patrick. I believe that she was Jane Costain when she married William Kelly on 21st Jan 1847 in Patrick (William age 50 and Jane age 30).

I'm also wondering whether there may be MIs for these two Quine burials. William Quine was the husband of Eleanor Clague b 1842, daughter of Charles Clague and Eleanor Moore. Rose Quine was Rose Hedger Jackson, second wife of William Quine.

QUINE, Rose Hedger 61 Rushen 3 Sep 1919

Thank you
