This is a tricky one, and I don't think that I am going to find an answer for it.

On the 1911 census there was an Alice Emily aged 44 living Ballagarey Cottage Crosby. I do not believe she was married, so hence the surname she was stated down as (Cox) was not her proper name. Alice was born according to this census in Ryde Isle of Wight, I do not know her birth surname.

I am looking for a death for her, I have looked on freebmd for England and Wales just by entering in Alice Emily and from the years 1911 to 1940, but nothing has showed up. Of course, this index is not complete so she may well be on a completed one.

Can anyone help please with a search for a death?
