Re: mylevoirrey/Caine
In Response To: Re: mylevoirrey/Caine ()

Hi liz,

I am pretty sure that Carol found these also, I guess I was hoping that someone might have some evidence already that William Kelly sr and Ann nee Myelvoirrey are indeed William Kelly's parents. I have tried through ancestry.com and various other sources, but haven't been able to prove this relationship. I have been caught out before jumping the gun with what seems like a match and spent hours researching the wrong lines.

Does any one have any history on the name Mylevoirrey? Where did it come from? I believe, from info from Frances, I think that it changed eventually to Morrison.

I have been trying to find William's parents for a long time, thanks to Carol, it seems we might have a lead. I am glad to have found someone to work with and have tea with!

Thanks to everyone who kindly and patiently works with those of us who are not that gifted in the area of genealogy research. It is a passion for me but unfortunately I don't have the time to read and learn all the ins and outs of the, "how to." I do so appreciate when someone has kindly guided me along the way.

Kind regards

Sue
