Bronwyn - My great-grandmother=Elizabeth Cowley (Close) 1836-1922. Her father =Thomas cowley 1798 - 1874. He inherited The Close on the death of his eldest brother John 1788 - 1841. Their father = William 1749-1833. His father= William 1716-1788, whose younger brother John 1719-98 purchased Crammag.
