I'm afraid then when the articles were written (from 16th C onwards) the authors did their best to flummox the 21st genealogists - seriously use the search page for names etc - there are some early genealogies - there are summaries of over 11,000 18th C wills - on cd are all 18th marriages, several hundred marriage contracts + quite a number of parish reg transcriptions + many land records - MNB is not intended as a repository of predigested family trees but as a source of info.
