Re: Cain(e)s of Orrisdale Michael

Dear Ms. Coakley,
Thank yu for replying back, I have replied back back by e-mail, earlier to you, but shall answer back the board mesage now.

As stated in my e-mail I have engaged a new researcher, who I believe shall get the needle at the bottom of the haystack, and that persistence pays off.

This Adam was of the nature of our Cain/e's by their heated tempers, for, I for one, as stated in my e-mail have fiery relatives and shall include myself, for when I am right NO ONE on this earth shall tell me otherwise.

I CAN ASSURE YOU WE ARE MANX BY THE BIBLE, AND WE ARE STILL PRESENTLY TRYING TO FIND THAT BIBLE.

What the dilema is finding what PATRICK left the Isle, AS I STATED IN THE E-MAIL they could not have been impoverished persons, IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN MONEY TO LEAVE THE ISLE TO START A NEW LIFE IN AMERICA and what a new life they had with lands and money and still today own lands and homes, so they had to begin with something, to end with something, but of course land grants were given, but NATHANEAL WALKER who married CELY CAINE, was a surveyor by trade and had a VILLIAGE OF WALKER'S STATION, MONIE TOWN, it was called, and CELY CAIN HAD ACREAGE UPON ACREAGE IN BLACKVILLE DISTRICT. The church being built by the family in that town and the HEALING SPRINGS being bought off the Indians and our PATRICK CAINE JR being killed by the TORIES AT SLAUGHTERFIELD BATTLE IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. The CAIN/E'S have prospered here as they did on the ISLE OF MAN.

Under Generation 4:

PATRICK CAIN/E Jr, born June 23, 1737 in KK MICHAEL, Isle of Man,( baptismal date), died August 18781 in AMER. REV. (killed by Tories, He was the son of PATRICK CAIN AND ELINOR CLARKE.
ELINOR CLARKE was born October 3, 1714 in KK JURBY, Isle of Man, she was the daughter of PAT CLARKE AND KATH GAWN. This was our PATRICK'S wife.

Generation 5:
Patrick Cain/e born JULY 17, 1712 in KK BALLAUGH PARISH, he was the son of ADAM CAINE AND ANNE CORLETT.

Generation 6:

ADAM CAIN/E born March 15, 1669 in KK MICHAEL, Isle of Mam (baptismal date) died before 1738, he was the son OF JOHN CAIN,
ADAM married ANNE CORLETT in KK MICHAEL
ANNE CORLETT born OCTOBER 2 1681 in KK BALLAUGH PARISH, Isle of Man, she was the daughter of THOMAS CORLETT.

ADAM CAINE AND ANNE CORLETT'S CHILDREN:

1. JOHN CAIN, born February 27, 1703 in KK MICHAEL PARISH, Ilse of Man(baptismal date) married ANN CARRAN, May 29, 1731 in KK PATRICK, Isle of Man,
2. Margeret Cain, born November 14, 1709 in KK BALLAUGH PARISH,Isle of Man(baptismal date) married JOHN QUIGGIN , oOctober 8 1737 in KK GERMAN, Isle of Man

3. PATRICK CAINE, born July 17, 1712 IN kk BALLAUGH PARISH, Isle of Man (baptismal date) DIED IN BARNWEL DISTRICT, AMERICA. married,ELINOR CLARKE , February 11, 1736 in KK BALLAUGH PARISH. THIS IS OUR PATRICK WHO LEFT THE ISLE. HIS SON PATRICK CAINE WAS KILLED BY THE TORIES AT SLAUGHTERFIELD BATTLE.

4. PHILIP CAINE, born JULY 17, 1712, TWIN BROTHER OF PATRICK, Ilsle of Man (baptismal date) died in infancy, born at kk BALLAUGH PARISH.

5. ElINOR CAIN, born March 25, 1713 in KK MICHAEL PARISH, Isle of Man , (baptismal date)

6. JONEY CAIN, born 1715, kk Michael Parish, Isle of Man

Asyou can see the children are baptized in two different PARISHES,KK BALLAUGH AND KK MICHAEL, there had to be two marriages, the, child PHILIP is buried at BALLAUGH, and then ADAM CAINE AT KK MICHAEL, so there is an answer to all this it may take time, but it will be found.
I have given this data before, we began this way in our research of 2003, then when the marriage of ADAM CAINE TO ELINOR STOEN,STEPHAN came about from you, we had to start a new research, I still say this was two marriages, between one man to two different women who produced these children , for they are children BAPTIZED AT BALLLAUGH AND KK MICHAEL. The co-incident of two ADAM CAINES cannot be, BUT THe INCIDENT OF TWO MARRIAGES CAN BE. For the particulars of the two have in common the two PARISHES, and two children of PATRICK AND PHILIP. In Anne CORLETT's WILL SHE HAD A GRANDSON, PATRICK AND HER SON PARTRICK WHO WAS MADE EXECUTOR. As stated this is not co-incidental, the fact is our PATRICK CAINE CAME OFF ADAM CAINE, HE WAS MARRIED TO ELINOR CLAKRE, AND HE CAME TO AMERICA, and we descended off his line, the PATRICK IS THE PROBLEM , off ADAM CAINE, not the wives. We shall need a huge winnowing fork to get to the water of OUR PATRICK, but it shall be found, the BIBLE is as I stated is where we began, we surely would not have wasted our time and money and hearts and sweat of brow for a fable.

In, engaging Mrs. Carine, I am sure we will find our PATRICK and then I will enjoy the fruits of our labor and hers.

Adam CAINE of your last message has many personality traits of the CAINES, I will tell you, they are adament, stubborn, and do not give in, they persist when all odds are against them. Believe me, this is one trait I definitely inherited from the MANX blood.

Again, thank you for all you have done and I am going forth to send what I have to the Museum and they shall, with Mrs. Carine works, make the final call of our PATRICK.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa
