Thanks David. I have been told it's quite a hike! Relatives have tried walking from the end of the Druidale Rd but didn't find the ruins of the "Close" due to forest plantations. Others have accessed the farms from the Reservoir. Apparently there is a track on the right hand side that goes to a little bridge across one of the arms of the Reservoir but it is extremely steep. One relative thought it looked like an easier route from the road at the base of Snaefell. Hope you can help!
