no - it was a ? but look at marriages on manxnotebook - I couldn't find a better match to parents - there were two john jicks born around this peruiod but the one in Santan appears to have died - the Thompsons appear to have landed up in Ireland - suspect they were associated with garrison - john jick (not sure which one) was also a soldier
