Also just rec'd this newspaper clipping re: Henry Corran -

In a letter to a friend at Peel, the Honorable J.K. Ward M.L.G. of Montreal encloses a business card inscribed "Henry Corran, dealer of fine watches and jewelery, 3___ Notre-dame Ste, Cunigonde, Montreal", he adds, "H.C. died a few years ago. I knew him when he was a boy. He was a son of John Corran, the tanner in Drumgold-street, Douglas. I expect there are few living who remember Paul or Johnny Corran, the tanners, of Thomas and Drumgold-streets."
