The reference 1465/10/23/12 brings up the page which has the 3 separate Quirk households which you've listed in your messages above.

I'm pretty sure that the John Quirk 40 farmer at Glenneedle is the direct ancestor of Karen Rimmer. JQ married Margaret Kelly of Ballavitchal Marown and Margaret is referred to in I M Kelly's book, "Twas thus, and thus they lived," as "the reluctant bride" ----so this JQ isn't the one with a wife, Esther, who Donna's looking for.

Is there anything else which might give a clue to help find your Quirks ?
