I am editing the letters of Katherine Conolly (1675-1752). She was born Katherine Conyngham in co. Donegal, Ireland. In one of her letters she refers to her father's family coming from the Isle of Man. Certainly her grandfather, dean Alexander Conyngham came to Donegal from Scotland in the 17th century, but I cannot trace the family further back than that. Can anyone help?
