Wm, did you see the answers to your previous query? I asked you what records you have which "go back to Lonan and Baldhoun Baldoon or Balladhoun".
Please give the details of the sources where these names appear.

I referred you to a previous thread on this BB where I wrote in answer to someone else:
[Date: Thursday, 4 October 2007, at 5:35 a.m.]

"I did some research into Nicholas Kinnish of Lonan who had a son Nicholas (see his will at: www3.telus.net/lawson/twill/1734_004.html), when researching the Corteen family of Maughold who were connected to this Kinnish/Kennish family who were earlier in Braddan/Douglas.

See Nicholas's father's will: www3.telus.net/lawson/twill/1737_016.html which mentions both his Corteen grandchildren and his Kinnish grandchildren - Nicholas's children in Lonan.

John KINNISH & Alice CRAINE children:

www3.telus.net/lawson/twill/1700_015.html. Note that her daughter Esther was married to a Nicholas Kinnish.
The two Creer sisters were named as next of kin supervisors (with their husbands also named) when their sister Ann Cannell als Creer died in 1698.

2. Ellin/Elinor b.c.1683 marr. Thomas CLAUGE Braddan 4 July 1710. Braddan reg. burial "Elinor Clague als --- of Ballagaree aged near 90 Feb 13 1773". And William Kenish & Else his wife of the Corraney in ye sayd parrish for and in behalfe of their Daughter Ann Kenish on the other parte as followeth....." 12 Oct.1731.

5. Nicholas bapt.16 Jan.1694/5 “Nicholas son of Jo : Kinish” married Christian Tear 28 April 1724 Malew (she marr. [2] John Kewley 1735 Lonan). The Maughold will of John Kenish who d. 3 March 1736 mentions his two grandchildren in Balldoon “Nicclas” (Nich s/o Nich b.26 May 1729 Lonan) and “Margt” (Margt d/o Nich b.29 Sep.1732 Lonan). The Lonan will of Alice Kinnish als Crain of KK Lonan d.14 May 1726 mentions her dau-in-law Christian Kinnish als Tear.
www3.telus.net/lawson/twill/1726_010.html"

[Donna, who also answered you before, suggests that Nicholas's wife Christian TEAR was the heiress of Baldhoon through her father John Tear? - his will 1720 Lonan. See Manx Notebook.]

There were a number of Nicholas KINNISH/KENNISH through the generations, with several in Maughold as well as in Lonan.
