Lionel C of Louisiana told me a different way to get to this. Perhaps it will help anyone else who experienced the not ready in your area message.

Instead of using the Beta search posted on the board, try using ww w.labs.familysearch.org (close the gap in www)

When the page opens, click on "record search." When that page opens, click on 'search or browse records." A world map will open. Just click on the country whose records that you want to search. Europe has the IOM's birth/baptism, marriage and death records.

What a fabulous assist this will be for us all.
