I have just started this wonderful discovery journey. I reside in Canada. My grandfather John Henry Kaneen was born in the IOM 1884, 3rd of 9 children. My hope is to travel to the Isle in a couple of year and discover my roots. Any information about his siblings (Lena Emily, Hannah Lenora, Catherine Louisa, Charles Wilfred, Florence Darnoult, Thomas Freer, Ada Bickerstaff, and William Bowman) apart from birth and death information which I have, would be gratefully received. My grandfather died in 1936, 13 years before I arrived on this earth and my father's side was not very talkative so I didn't learn much about my ancestry, other than the prideful reference that they hailed from the Isle of Man. Also any tracking of my great grandparents John Kaneen and his wife Emily (Bickerstaff) and their parents Thomas Kaneen and Catherine (Quilliam) would also be appreciated. Where they lived, where they now rest etc. Anything at all. Thank-you
