Thanks again, Frances. I do not believe that
Robert was my ggrandfather's father as he was
81yrs when he died. My understanding that
my ggrandfather was orphaned at a very young age and that he was cared for by his
mother's brothers until and perhaps after he
came to the U.S. It was told, also, that they
had a summer house in the Isle of Man. I will
just have to continue to hunt for records where
he actually wrote down exactly where he was
born other than England. Just have a lot more
research to do. You have been very helpful
and I really do appreciate all you have done.
