Frances - a big thank you for your help - I had seen the Thomas Halsall with Cath Kelly but I have been looking for a William Halsall born 1835 - father Thomas occupation Joiner - it would seem that Cath Kelly had three illegimate children Henry, William and Catharine!! So thank you so much!! I now cant find William born 1835 Ballaugh, Isle of Man in the 1841 census!
