Hi David I corresponded with the Borthwick Institute seeking information regarding the ordination & ministry of "Sir" William Leece of K.German. He died in K. Michael in 1602. There are no records of him on the Island, in the Bishop's archives or in the Manx Museum. It would seem that his ordination & ministry was in Ireland. The Institute was very helpful. Perhaps the archivist can be of help in your search for the last Abbot of Rushen. Good luck. Harry
