simple scheme I adopt is to use the preformat tag for claimed transcriptions and normal text for reformatted - btw even Brian's own transcriptions indicate he was not that familiar with early hands - one claimed transcription (not his own however) even has a wrong misread surname as main name in it - many others have quite doubtful readings not usually indicated as such.
