If you look at 1881 census there is only one child age 1 in the home - the admissions reg pre 1884/5 appears to have been lost (those names I have after this date ented at earliest aged 3 and usually a little older) but they would emigrate age 12 or so if not found work on Island - you can check the inmates online in the 1881 census - would appear that most of the williliams went to Canada in mid 1885's
