Philip Cain

Dear Liz,

I, too, e-mailed you earlier also, about Mum, she made it fine through her surgery and shall be fit as a fiddle for travel by our time to leave. Thank your for you care also of her and prayers.
Liz, when the it warms up and not before then, I don't want you out and about in bad weather, before we come perhaps in first part of April. I have asked Ms. Coakley to either find out or tell me how I may find out how to contact the Vicar or the Registra of the records of the grave plots at the OLD BALLAUGH PARISH CHURCH, I want to find where Philip is buried, so I may see the plot and if there is a stone, I do believe you did go when I first started posting, and it was scary for you, because of the condition of the grave yard, perhaps is has been cleaned and cleared by now with so many searching their roots on the Isle, but I would like a picture of the grave plot, and I will be going there for worship, for Mary said last summer I believe when she posted, that she and a friend went and she posted on the board they had services still and heat, so I WILL WORSHIP there while on the Isle, but I would like to know where Philip is buried , he was born a twin to Patrick who came to America, Ms. Coakley found out he died with smallppx and we had the all the history of his birth, July 17, 1712, IN KK BALLAUGH PARISH, ( baptismal date), died in infancy at birth, but we do not have his burial plot number, so if Ms. Coakley can give me the information on how to find out the grave plot number, and when the weather is much, much warmer, in the beginning of April, we are to leave in the second week of April, could you please take a picture if there is a plot to be found, thank you so much, now do not go now, it would upset me terribly, for this is winter and I would not want you injured in ice and snow, but when the warmer weather appears, then if you are up to it, I would like to see where he is buried if there is a plot to be found, for 1712 is a very long time ago, but when in LEICESTER, we went through grave yards and I found a Cain there at the year 1725, so there may something there and if not, I do know from our records he was buried there.

Again, thank you for being so kind and I am glad you are a part of our CAIN FAMILY.

Take care and stay warm,

Ruth
