Many thanks for that information it has answered one of my questions and filled in a little gap for my family tree. Ok next question . Does anyone know how long he was he a teacher there? Also I have been trying to find records of where him and his wife (Edna?)may be buried - I am having trouble locating that information. Also what became of their daughter (Charmian?). Did they remain on the island?
I have looked up the manx telecom directory as suggested by Mary M but do not want to make contact as I am not 100% sure I have the right family.
