Hi Frances and thank you for your reply. I'm looking for the marriage of Manasseh Quaye to Anne about 1860. I have looked at Familysearch and Manxbmd for Quay, Quaye and Quayle but no luck.

I'm trying to ascertain Manassehs surname, in 1841 and 1851 he is Quay - then in 1861 and onwards he is Quaye - the Igi has his father John as both!

Interestingly in the Manxbmd records there are very few Quayes and Quays so I can't even find a cousin or brother for Manasseh!

Any guidance greatly appreciated - Mary
