Hi,

I am trying to sort out the Barnes family. Eddie Barnes, was manager of the Manx Electric prior to his death at the age of 70 in 1952, and was buried at Douglas Borough Cemetery on 5 Nov 1952.

He and his wife, who was probably a Maley, had a daughter Dorothy May Barnes who was born c1907, and killed in a hospital accident (Channel Isles ?) 1933, and was buried DBC 12 Sept 1933. I would guess that it may be the same family grave but I do not know for sure.

If there is an MI any inscription would be welcome and esp any data on Edward Barnes Wife, who, as I say was probably a Maley, possible Catherine Eleanor but that is NOT by any means certain.

Our two little ones continue to progress, the older girl Anastasia liking engines, trams, aircraft carriers and dolls ! Alexandra Amy (called Alekis by her sister is almost walking and almost talking !!
