Here lieth the bodies of 5 children of HUGH CAIN of Douglas, the first of these departed this life the 11th of April 1799 aged 2 years
Weep not for us our parents dear
We are not dead but sleeping here
Our days was short our grief was less
We are gone from here to happiness
Also the remain of the afore-sd HUGH CAIN who departed this life the 6th July 1846 aged 75 years
Also in memory of THOMAS CLAGUE (son in law of the above named Hugh CAIN) who departed this life the 24th of November 1861 in the 71st year of his age
