Ok Thomas born approx 1832 died 27 nov 1902 in Melbourne Victoria Australia.
His son Thomas(jnr) was the informant on Death Cert and stated that he was born in Port St Mary, Parents Unknown.
Thomas & Ann came to Aust for the Goldrush. I have details of him being a miner then later in life he was a carpenter.
I have found much of the original research that was passed on to me has been incorrect.
Thus I really need to find out what the marriage Certificate says so I can continue my research. Thomas Cubbon was a very common name and the census throws up people all over the IOM and UK. I have no idea who his family was.
I have contacted a LDS family research centre local to me but I will be waiting 4- 12 weeks for the records, therefore I hoped someone on the IOM may have some solid info.
