Thank you Frances for your kind reply. I do realise that according to published information there were NO survivors. I can only say that in C1951 and during a family holiday to Ramsay with my late mother and father I was told about his survival and then visited with my father offices holding the papers and statements in Douglas with all the connected details. These were then filed as "The Thompson Papers" - my late fathers' best friend and a Law Thompson also of Honley Huddersfield Yorkshire who also survived.
I have read the entry about the disaster and the names of the deceased and can only comment that is says that some names are missing.!!
