Morag, I've looked again at some of the info I pasted into yesterday's message from John Qualtrough's research. I've altered some details using familysearch, and I've indicated which baptisms are from extracted entries and which are patron submissions. I've also transcribed the census entries for the households which I believe to be of Thomas Costain b 1780 and Eleanor nee Moore b ?
If I've found the correct households, Eleanor claims to be 40 in 1841, 60 in 1851, and 75 in 1861.
