1952-62 had the best holidays ever in the Balqueen. The only people from N.Ireland, Mum and I met up with wonderful friends, one family in particular we met year after year - I am still in contact by phone and letter with Fay (now we are in our 70s!!) Great times then - dancing, cycling, tours all over the Island (esp. to Rushen Abbey (more dancing, and strawberries!), walks to the Sound, the little train to Port Erin, all laid on by the hotel if you wanted to join in. Happy Days!

Thanks to the Balqueen for so many wonderful holidays and happy memories - still have lots of photos to dream over!
