no I'm not official like two other volunteer unpaid moderators we try to keep this board free of spam - yes some words are innocuous but some spammers (and at the peak we could be removing 3 or 4 per hour) tend to use stock phrases which these block. Yes there are more modern techniques on newer boards, I don't know if you run a web site but others that do tell me that they too have major problems in this area - our board is old thus restricted in its weapons but the archive stretching back 10 years or more is very valuable - by keeping the board clean we also get a good google rating - this board has no membership fees and is given us by the admin - all they get out is the banner advert.
