Hi I'm Claire's Mum. I have found some information about my Grandfather (George Edward Hinstridge) that confirms a lot of what you all have said. He had two other brothers according to the record I have I assume that these were older than the names mentioned here as they are not included They were Stephen and Thomas. I have my grandfathers "Soldier's small book" that dates back to 1907. His parents are noted in that as William James and Elizabeth.
