It is very sad to hear that Brian has passed away. He was so helpful to me three years ago when I was struggling with my Manx research. A casual email to Brian was answered so promptly and with such detail that it took my research back a further two generations. When I think of how he helped me, a complete stranger, so much, it is amazing to think how many people he must have helped through similar emails and, more importantly, through his website. He was clearly a man who loved helping others.
