I was a waiter there for a few weeks during school holidays in 1965. The manager was RWP (Bobby) Littler - a bit of a tartar then, but I enjoyed meeting him again several years later. The owner was Walter Kelly. My Sunday duties were to serve him and his family for which I always received 2/6d tip. Head chef was Charlie Quayle - not a man to get on the wrong side of. Head Porter was Charlie Ward. Anyone remember them?
