Having spent my hoilday's at the Bal queen from the age of 10 to 22 you will unserstand the many happy holiday's I had there. I still think a lot of Port St Mary and wish I could travel there. I made many friends there during my holiday's.
By the way we didn't cycle to Laxy it was Rusian Abbyand loved eating the fresh fruit of the season and having a dance finishing with the "conga". On the way home most of us went thru the stream sometimes geting quite wet,and back to the hotel in time for the good food wich Bal Queen was well known for. Wednesday afternoon was the swimming comp. in Port Erin.
