I have recently discovered five old letters that were in my grandmothers house. They are from various members of the Lord family(John and Jane Lord, their 2 sons James and John, a daughter, Ellen) and I have managed to locate them to 28 Church St, Ramsey. What I need to know is if anyone knows of decendants of them to link them to my great grandmother who was a Lord. No one in my existing family knows her christian name but she lived in Aberdeen and married an Archie Robertson. Any info would be great!
One last thing! One letter mentions JohnLord Sr. being saved by the Ramsey lifeboat off a boat called the Pearl of Ramsey circa1870's , is there a lifeboat history site anyone could recommend!
