My Great-grandmother, Catherine Jane Cowin (1844-1919 Kirk German)) who married 20 Sep 1861 to James Garrett also of Kirk German was the daughter of Chas Cowin = Catherine Corlett (md 25 Mar 1843 Ballaugh). I can't put my finger on the info at the moment however, I believe this is the same Charles Cowin. There was also a son Charles Joseph.
