Re: Enos Christian
In Response To: Enos Christian ()

Dear Dave:
I believe the person you are looking for is my great-grandmother, Susan Annie Moore. Enos was her second husband. She had been married to Thomas Bateman and they had two children, Douglas(my grandfather) and a daughter Alice. Thomas was drowned. She and Enos had three children, Charles who was a twin, the other twin died at birth and Edward known as "Buster". Charlie was killed at Dieppe and Buster left Toronto after WWII to farm in Belleville, Ont. Susan and Enos emmigrated to Canada around 1912 along with a number of her brothers and sisters. Her parents Henry and Emma Moore came to Canada a bit later. He was in partnership with his brother Thomas(Tossie) in a livery service in Douglas,I.O.M. You can find a bit more information about Enos at the Archives of Canada site. They have his attestation paper when he joined the Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force in WWI. I hope this has been helpful to you. Could you tell me how we might be related?
Regards, Lisa
