As regards the New Strand Inn, it was definately in Strand St, on the right hand side heading towards Bottom of Well Rd Hill. It was just past H. Samuels, the Jewellers. Its one of the very few few places where my Uncle had worked, playing the piano ,or organ, as they always had an accordianist, who called himself Count Marenzi, and lives in or near Ramsey. He was on Manx Radio Mannin line just over a week ago. He worked there for years, and that is the guy to contact.
