I found William Quayle, brother of my ggrandmother Eunice Eliza, born in Sulby, Lezayre (Ballaskella).
I knew William came to Manchester in the late 1870's and was told he emigrated to New Zealand then Australia, but he was in Manchester with his first wife Catherine and 4 children at 1881 census but the wife in Australia has a different name, so Catherine must have died after 1881.
The date given for entry to Australia was wrong, but everything else was right.
