I am researching the Family History. I can find details of John Stopporton married to Anne Corkill in Lezayre IOM 5 Apr 1855 and some other details of descendants available. Have lost intervening years untill 1887 when a Alfred "William" Stopperton appears. Married to a Mary Ann Corkill on .... she died in Oct 19 1892. My grandfather called William Stopporton born apx 1887 died 62yrs old in 1949. Buried The Borough Cemetary Douglas IOM. My father Walter Alfred Stopporton lived on the IOM from 1928 till 1946.
