My reason for suggesting that the papers be put on the Online-Data (Members Only) site was because this wouldn't affect their publication in the Proceedings. They wouldn't be considered to have been commercially published if available only on a members' password protected site.

Michael's suggestion of having someone taking notes would be great, but it would be so much easier if the speaker would supply his/her own notes! [And many conferences and FHSs insist on this.]
