My Grandfather worked on the Steam Packet but after the dates you mentioned. I have been unable to trace what happened to two of his Uncles after 1901 Census and wonder if they also worked on the Steam Packet. Their names were John Smith (born c1887) and James M Smith (born c1891) both were born in Glasgow but the family moved to the Isle of Man c1896.
If you could kindly look these names up I would appreciate it.
