Interesting that some of the Sayle disputes appeared to continue [my previous message]. From the 1757 visitation of Andreas:
"Wm Sayle & Jony his wife... the husbd & wife do not cohabit" ["William Sayle of the West Craig and Joney Sayle of ye East Craige" marr. Sept 13 1740].
I don't know whether the difference in spelling Craig in the same parish reg entry means anything?
