Thank you for your quick response. William Lace was my father d 1985. Kittie or Catherine was his elder sister died in infancy of polio.

My father's elder brother was David George d 1990. I am in touch with his family (my cousins) in South Africa.

Not sure who George is, as research of 1881 census indicate children of David & Catherine as indicated in my original posting.

Family portrait however does show 4 very much younger children 1 boy & 3 girls - always assumed them to be David and Catherine's grand children. Any information gratefully received. Thx
